<p>Notice the weather change, during the season we change with the times, literally.  Shortened daylight hours changes our natural body clock or Circadian Rhythm, which influences excessive sleepiness or hunger.  Also the decreased serotonin from the brain effects the moods as well, so the idea in the winter months is to brighten things up.  Turn light on earlier and leave them on longer at night.  Having lighter colors around the house help too.</p>
