How does snoring affect your sleep?
How many times have you woke up in the morning with a dry cotton mouth or a sore throat? Chances are you are snoring and do not even know.
Snoring is among the common sleep disorders that affect people at many ages, the tendency worsen for overweight people.

Causes of Snoring.
The basics of snoring is caused in general by the physical obstruction of air flow through the mouth and nose. Air flow can be obstructed by many factors, such as:
Nasal airways obstruction – blocked passages from the nasal require effort to transfer air through. Most times, people snore during allergy season or when sinius cavity is infected.
Muscle tone of the tongue – if the tongue in the throat is to relaxed, the tongue will fall back into the airway causing snoring problems. This can be caused by medicine or age.
Extra throat tissue – obesity causes or can me the cause of snoring by the enlarged glands blocking the airpassage.
Swollen Uvula – during the allergy season or just being infected can cause snoring. The uvula can swell up and restrict air causing abrupt snorts in the sleep.
