Overweight in Children Tied to Insomnia

Inadequate sleep and overweight in children translates into cognitive skills.
Studies done by the University de Montreal has shown that 90 percent of children ages from six month to 6 years have at least one sleep related problem. The team analyzed 1,138 children and found 26 percent who didn’t get enough sleep were overweight. Secretion of hormones is brought on by lack of sleep, so the less sleep we get the hungrier we feel. A cognitive exercise was give to children and found that nearly 50 percent did poorly caused by lack up sleep were 20 percent performed badly who had adequate sleep.
