Sleep Deprivation and your Brain

Brain function and sleep deprivation effects can cause simple task to become difficult, the study found the brain compensating for lack of sleep.
Learning becomes less efficient when sleep deprived, different parts of the brain are activate when verbal learning between (temporal region) rested patients and (parietal lobes) non rested patients. Although brain activity is present in both subject, sleep deprivation memory was less efficient but is associated with better memory.
The NeuroReport found that the brain is extremely dynamic and will try to function when sleep deprived, even when the ability of cognitive task diminishes. Remember that being deprived of sleep has side effects, impeding the brain to function normally.
